After much research and careful thought, Mandy and Kevin decided to ditch the demands of their huge suburban house and secure their future at Providence Lifestyle Resort in Piara Waters.
Now more than six months after joining the community, they’re thrilled they did.
“I had the impression that it would be like a retirement village, however, it’s been an absolute pleasure being here,” admits Kevin.
“We’ve met some delightful people.”
Mandy agrees.
“I love the community. I love meeting new people,” she states, revealing that the pair has been welcomed into the Resort community with open arms.
“The social life is a bit too good at times!” laughs Mandy.
“You can never get bored here, I can assure you,” adds Kevin.
“We’ve got two little buses that take us on excursions.
And the Clubhouse, it’s fantastic. It’s grandiose.”
“In fact, the amenities are just mind boggling. We both enjoy the gym, the pool, music room, for me, because I’m a musician. It’s in abundance.”
“Mandy and I don’t feel old, we know we’ve still got a lot to offer, and the Resort enables us to do that.”
The privacy and security offered by the Resort have also added to the experience for the couple.
“One of the concerns, I guess, for both of us, was having houses so close together that we’d hear people, but the houses are so insulated that it is very, very private inside your home,” says Mandy.
“It’s so beautifully secure. I have no problem walking home from a do at the club by myself.”
Says Kevin: “We’ve enjoyed the first six months and we’re looking forward to many, many more months of wonderful experiences.”
“We love it”, sums up Mandy. “The moment I drove through these gates, it just felt like home.
